2022 wrapped up

Read our 2022 success in our latest annual report

In 2022 we celebrated our 20th anniversary as a charity set up in 2002 to inspire the next generation of engineers.

During this time, we have helped millions of young people across the world realize and achieve their engineering ambitions by running educational workshops and events, providing free resources, awarding bursaries and prize money through the James Dyson Award and funding engineering studio spaces at universities in the UK and Singapore.

We have also helped to build new medical research and treatment facilities at the Royal United Hospital in Bath through the Dyson Neonatal Center, and soon to be opened Dyson Cancer Center. And provided funding to support pioneering dementia research being conducted at the University of Edinburgh.

Finally, we work with Dyson to give back to the local community in Malmesbury, where Dyson’s UK offices are based, by funding local organisations and initiatives.
